The online course evaluation survey opened this morning. The evaluations are highly important. Getting your feedback makes all the difference when developing and improving the courses.

Access the survey from the course page in LearnIT. There is a survey for each course you follow. Find the link on the main page towards the bottom.

Your responses are used by teachers and management to improve each course. 

The survey closes May 14, but why postpone it - go go go!

New features on Student Council website
We are excited to announce the launch of our updated website!

The website now boasts of a comprehensive list of all student organisations categorised for your convenience, and you can also view their upcoming events and easily sync them with your calendar.

Student Council General Assembly Spring 2023
As we continue to work hard to improve the student experience on campus, we would like to invite you to our General Assembly on Tuesday, May 16 at 16:00.

At the assembly, we will be voting in a new board and presenting updates on what's happening in the Student Council. And yes, we'll have some snacks on hand too, because who doesn't love a good snack? \ud83d\ude0b

Be sure to keep an eye on our website, StudentCouncil.dk, as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages for more information about the General Assembly and updates from the Student Council.

Time for a bicycle clean-up in the basement
It is time for a major clean-up in the basement.

Therefore, on Tuesday, May 2, FM will mark all bicycles parked in the basement with a sticker.

Remember to remove the sticker from your bike before May 31. 

All bikes still marked with af sticker on May 31 will be handed over to the police department for lost property.
 
Please respect the no smoking signs
Please remember to respect the no smoking signs. If you smoke where you are not permitted to, for instance right by the entrance doors, smoke seeps into the building.
 
You are only allowed to smoke in the smoking shed on the parking lot.
 
Thank you for respecting the ITU smoking policy. 
 
Minister visited ITU to debate education reform
On Monday, April 26, Minister of Higher Education and Science, Christina Egelund, visited ITU to take part in a debate about the newly proposed education reform.

This event presented an opportunity for ITU students and employees to discuss the lack of IT-specialists, students’ welfare, and the 1-year master’s degree programmes with the minister.

The IT Department will be closed on May 3
Due to a seminar, the IT department will be closed all day on May 3 and on May 4 til 11.00. 

If you experience critical IT issues, please contact the Information Desk.
 
Time to Enroll for DHL Stafetten 2023
True to tradition, the IT University will participate in the world's largest DHL baton held in Fælledparken on August 30. The competition starts at 18.00. 



Both students and staff can enroll. So, hurry up and register a team as well as a contact person and a name for your team.



A baton team consists of 5 persons and the route is 5 x 5 km. It is also possible to enroll groups who will walk 5 km on a separate route. You can also sign up individually for the run or the walk and then we will try to set a team.



As always, ITU will provide food, drinks and "hygge" in our own tent. So bring your familiy for a cosy evening in Fælledparken – it is a fun experience

Join the Build lab Data Visualization Competition

BUILD lab is thrilled to announce the annual Data Visualization competition! 

Both groups and individuals are invited to showcase their prowess in creating stunning and impactful data visualizations for a chance to win gift cards for the summer and other goodies! If you’re already crafting data visualizations for your exam paper, why not submit it and get recognized for your work?

Submission deadline is June 9, and you can read more about it and submit your visualization on the BUILD lab’s website.
 
Revolutionizing design with AI: A chat with Uizard Founders
AITU is excited to invite you to join a talk by ITU alumni and Uizard founders, Tony Beltramelli and Henrik Haugbølle.

They will share their journey of turning an initial idea into one of Copenhagen's hottest startups and discuss how Uizard simplifies App, Web, and UI design using the latest AI advancements.

The talk will take place on Thursday, May 4, 18:15 at the Novo Nordisk Hub.
