Autumn registering is coming up
Even though we are just on the tip of Summer with its warmer and longer days, you will soon have to think about what your Autumn semester should look like.

The registration period for courses in the Autumn semester 2023 runs from June 1 – June 10.

You might have to sign up for a course on your specialisation, an elective, a summer course, a 2nd or third exam attempt. You may also need to register for a project, your Bachelor project or Thesis.

“Being weird and playful is what drives my research"
Miguel Sicart, Head of Center for Digital Play, is now officially Professor after having presented his inaugural lecture as professor last Friday (May 26).

He has spent the past twenty years working in games research at ITU, and his urge to ask weird and playful questions has driven his research forward throughout his career. Today he is considered a pioneer in the field of game studies.

Humour as an online safety issue
Ariadna Matamoros-Fernández from QUT Brisbane will discuss humour as an online safety issue which social media platforms could include it in their risk assessments and harm mitigation strategies.
