Sharpen your pencils (or dust of your computer)
Courses are starting this week and we are very happy to welcome everybody to the ITU Campus - both new students and all of you returning.

It is great seeing you all around campus again!

We hope you have had a great summer and that you are all well rested and ready to study again.
 
Do you need to change your registrations for this semester?
​​​​​​​Maybe you forgot to register? Maybe you want another elective or you need to follow a course again? Then you need to change your registration. 

The registration change period ends 10 September. After that your registrations are binding. 

Be aware of the progression requirement, if you choose to register for less than 30 ECTS.

Join the new Linux Lab at ITU
Whether it is A"I" or "Cloud" Computing, Azure or AWS, Networking, Security or HPC - chances are that underneath it is all... Linux.

This is among the resons for us to offer a Linux Lab as a place for exchange and learning for everyone - from beginner to champion, for students and staff alike.

All questions and contributions are welcome - and so are you!

Every Wednesday from 16.00-18.00 at the DASYA Lab, 5A56, starting 6 September 2023.
 
Data Jams in the Human Data Interactions Lab 
Join our Data Jam series when we kick off this fall semester on 5 September at 16.00.

Here we will show “Rams”, a documentary portrait of the highly influential designer Dieter Rams.The documentary dives into his design philosophy and rumination on consumerism, sustainability, and the future of design.

The following Data Jams are scheduled for:
- 19 September (typeface design)
- 3  October (map making)

Our Data Jams explore the interplay of humans, data, design, and interaction.

Board Game Night
Interested in playing your favorite board games over free snacks and some drinks from ScrollBar?

We invite you to Connect's first Board Game Night of the semester on Friday 1 September from 16:00 in room 2A12-14.

We have a large array of board games available, so chances are that we have all of your favorites in our collection!

Feel free to drop by whenever for snacks and board games.
 
Join the Meet & Greet by Connect
We are ITU Connect, ITU's social events' student organisation, mainly known for board game nights and Magic the Gathering. However, we organise a wide array of events.

We invite you to join our Meet & Greet Monday, 28 August from 16:00 in room 5A60.

Calling all coffee and hygge lovers
Join our Meet & Greet in Café Analog on the 31 August starting at 16:30, if you are interested in knowing what Cafe Analog is all about and consider becoming a barista. 
 
We will go over what is expected of you as a barista, all the amazing perks, and what is required of your application.
 
The sweet baristas at Analog will provide you with delicious snacks and a drink on the house.

Join ETHOS Lab as a Junior Researcher '23-24!
ETHOS Lab explores and experiments with creative, critical, and feminist methods and methodologies when analysing technology in practice.

Students at ITU can become part of our community by enrolling as Junior Researchers. 

Application deadline is 20 September, 2023, at 23:59.

If you like to know more you should join us in the lab (3A30) for an info event on 13 September, 15:00-16:00. Here you can meet previous JRs and learn more about the programme. You can also visit ethos.itu.dk.
