Fabulating through and with data archives
Join us for an engaging lecture and workshop with researchers Vasiliki Tsaknaki and Louie Søs Meyer, exploring how fabulation techniques can transform our approach to data archives.

Guest Lecture
In this lecture we will introduce fabulation as a set of techniques for re-thinking technologies and developing alternative futures. Examples will demonstrate how data archives can offer new perspectives on stories from past, present and future. The session concludes by exploring fabulation with data archives as a form of crafting from a feminist perspective.

When and where: 12 May, 15:00-16:00 in Auditorium 4

Workshop
This workshop presents a toolkit for creating knotted data archives using menstruation and fertility tracking apps as examples, highlighting issues of labor, intimacy, and privacy. Participants will then apply fabulation approaches to their own projects, exploring the question: "How can I use fabulation to (re)think the development of data archives?"

When and where: 12 May,16:00-18:00 in ScrollBar

Both the lecture and workshop is open and free for all, but you need to register for the workshop.
