Let’s Kick-off the Course Evaluation
Yet again it is time to focus on the evaluation of your courses. This process runs each semester and is organised in two steps, with the Mutual Alignment of Expectations (formative evaluation) as a first step.

Over the next weeks, your teachers will facilitate a formative evaluation in class. The purpose is to align expectations between students and teachers and find out if something needs adjustment.

Find out more on ITU Student.

Writing Your BSc Project or MSc Thesis This Semester?
It is a good idea to align expectations for supervision with your supervisor.

We recommend you make a Supervision Agreement. Find the template on ITU Student.

Keep the agreement in your project folder in LearnIT.

Please note that the Supervision Agreement is not the same as the Project Agreement.

BreakIT: SMD Placing Machine
Do you lack steady hands and cannot place tiny resistors on your printed circuit boards? BreakIT is here to help!

During this workshop, we design and build a manual pick and place machine which is able to populate printed circuit boards with SMD (Surface Mount Device) components.

We build the machine from off-the-shelf parts such as V-Slot linear guides, linear bearings, a vacuum pump and a bit of magic. Come and help us! Everybody is welcome!
