Join Us for Thesis Talks 2022
What kind of gender bias can be seen in AI? Is it possible to lower software testing costs by up to 60 percent? And how do we move towards sustainable procurement of software? 

These questions and many others will be answered at Thesis Talks on September 21. You will meet 11 excellent and brave former students when they present their thesis research and results this Wednesday from 16.00 at Scrollbar.

Inspired by TED-talks, each project must be presented in 10 minutes.
 
Do You Want to Help Fellow Students via Your Student Job?
Become a mentor and help other 
fellow students through their studies. 

As part of the job, you will receive training and supervision which will prepare you to be a great mentor for fellow students that meet various barriers in the course of their study life.

Working hours are flexible and agreed between you and your mentee. Find out more about the job by clicking below (in Danish). 

 
ITU Board of Directors Meeting

The next ITU Board of Directors Meeting takes place on September 22, 2022. 

At the meeting will, among other things, the half-year accounts and the framework budget 2023-2026 be considered.

Come hear about the LGBTQIA+ community at ITU!

We are having a ‘meet and greet’ on September 21, 16.00-19.00 in 5A60.

Discuss changes at ITU, share experiences, or just hang out and play some board games.

New Automated External Defibrillator at ITU
We have now set up another defibrillator at ITU. 

The new one is set up outside the main entrance on the concrete pillars in front of Café Analog. Here it is  accessible to everyone in the entire neighborhood around the clock. 

It is also registered to be used by the official heart runner network.
 
INFO BREAKFAST - STUDENT COUNCIL x NOVO NORDISK HUB
Student Council is teaming up with the Novo Nordisk Digital Innovation Hub to serve you breakfast this Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM - all for free!

While you’re munching, you’ll get the chance to meet the members of the Student Council and the representatives from the Novo Hub at ITU.

The breakfast will be located on the first floor above the information desk.
 
PhD Defence by Per Rådberg Nagbøl

PhD Student Per Rådberg Nagbøl will be defending his PhD thesis “Theoretical and practical approaches to the responsible management of artificial intelligence”. 

When and where: September 20, 2022 at 14.30 in Auditorium 3.
 
Talk on Lighting Design
With inspiration from Copenhagen Light Festival, DDIT Activity Committee (DAK) has invited the Tivoli's Head of Lighting for an inspiring talk on art and light in public spaces and light as a material for design.

Jesper Kongshaug is a Lighting Designer and has worked internationally and nationally in the fields of architecture, theater, opera and events in public spaces. He is furthermore Chairman of the Board of Copenhagen Light Festival.

The talk is for everyone interested in an inspiring talk on lighting. 

Join us in AIR LAB from 18-19, tomorrow (Tuesday September 9). The event is FREE and registration is not required.

Happy Hub Anniversary!
Happy Hub Anniversary! The Novo Nordisk Digital Innovation Hub at ITU (3C) is turning one year on Friday! As a celebration, the Hub will be hosting a Friday bar from 16:00 – 00:00.

Everyone is welcome to join in on the festive activities. DJ Dørmand and ADAM BASS from ScrollBar will be playing from 19:00 – 00:00.
