ITU recommends removing TikTok from your devices
Following the discussions in the public lately concerning the risk of espionage and personal data leakage when using TikTok, the Executive Management now recommends all ITU students to delete the application TikTok from their devices. 

This is especially relevant if you are using applications on your phone which are related to ITU servers such as ITU mail, calendar, and Microsoft Teams.
 
Studying outside of ITU next semester?
If you need to have courses pre-approved for the Autumn 2023 semester, remember the deadline.

The deadline for pre-approval is April 20. 
 
Time for the ITU Board of Director´s meeting
The next ITU Board of Director´s meeting takes place on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Among other things, the ITU Annual Report 2022 and the Long-form Audit Report will be considered.

Info Breakfast - bring your input
Student Council wants to hear your input on how we can improve the study environment, so join us for delicious food and bring your ideas and questions.

We will be providing breakfast treats starting at 9:30 on Wednesday, March 29, on the first floor in Atrium until 10:30.

So stop by and fuel up while you share your thoughts with us.

ITU Coffee Talk about artificial life
ITU Coffee talks is excited to present Djordje Grbic, assistant professor at the Robotics, Evolution and Art Lab.

His talk will be on artificial life and bio-inspired computation, a field at the intersection of biology, art, and computer science. 

The talk will take place on Thursday, March 30 at 16:30 in Analog.

As always, we there will be free coffee and snacks!
 
Time for Music Night with Node and open mic
Come join us for a cozy music event on March 29 from 16:30 in Analog.

We will begin the event with a performance by Node, ITU's own choir.

Afterwards, there will be an open mic format. Maybe it is your time to shine?

Whether it be Lady Gaga on harp or singing in a band, all is welcome!

ReadIT will take a two-week Easter break
The Easter holidays are coming up. ReadIT will also take a two-week Easter break and return on Monday, April 17.

Deadline for submitting news for the first edition after Easter is Wednesday, April 12, at noon.
