ITU students and alumni win awards at Copenhagen Gaming Week
ITU was represented with games developed by both students and alumni from the university at Copenhagen Gaming Week and ‘Spilprisen’ that took place last week.

Students from the MSc Games won the award for ’Best Student Game’, while alumni from the same study programme won for ‘Best Debut’.

On Tuesday, 25 February, from 15.00, ITU will hold an open house event for the BSc programmes. Here, potential students can hear presentations and talk to current students from our BSc programmes.

Why do some founders get asked about success while others are questioned about risks? Research shows that women and underrepresented entrepreneurs often face more skeptical questions, impacting their access to funding and opportunities. 

In this session, you will learn how to reframe challenging questions to highlight your strengths—whether you are pitching investors, job hunting, or seeking recognition.

Calling Danish STEM master students
What if you could add Silicon Valley startup experience to your CV while still studying? Through the International Bioinnovation Program, six Danish STEM students are send to work in a Silicon Valley biotech startup for five months, fully funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. 

You will get real work experience in a startup, meet talented people from the biotech world, and see how things work in the world's biggest tech hub. 

The scholarship takes care of everything you need: visa, housing, flights, and a monthly stipend. Plus, you will have full support throughout your stay. 

The upcoming program runs from 1 July – 31 December, 2025. You can apply online now and until 15 March.
 
Join the Poker Bot Battle 2025​​​​​​​
28 February, you are invited to an exciting event, where a good poker face ain’t enough!

During the event you will have to code the best poker-playing algorithm to beat your competition. 

Once time is up, everyone’s bots will be faced off against each other on the big screen.

The top three poker bots will be rewarded handsomely! 

Time and place: 16:00-19:00 Friday, 28 February in Scrollbar.

ITUnderground Meet and Greet
We are hosting our first event of the semester, our Meet & Greet which will take place on 27 February from 16:15 in room 5A14-16.

At the Meet and Greet, we will briefly go over what the student organisation is about, as well as have some beginner-friendly CTF challenges ready for everyone to try out.

You do not need any experience to try the challenges, and there will be plenty of people around to help.

We will, of course, also have free snacks and soda for all participants.
