New report maps the societal value of research within SHAPE
Climate change, social inequality, and health crises are not just technological challenges – they are deeply human.

The humanities and social sciences provide us with the necessary insight into culture, behavior, and societal structures that make potential solutions both sustainable and meaningful.

A new report from all eight Danish universities demonstrates how we can strengthen the societal value of research.

Find out how and download the report by using the link below.

Embracing the ambivalent green transition
What do people mean when they talk about ‘bad things’ in urban nature? On 14 March from 12:00-13:00, the CCIT will welcome the brilliant Megan Maurer (KU).

She will dive into the fractured experiences around urban nature and nature-bases solutions (NBS) with a talk titled ‘Embracing the Ambivalent Green Transition’.

She argues for a more diverse data collection approach to understand these ambivalent experiences and to build a more just and socially acceptable approach to urban NBS planning, design, and management through living with ambivalence rather than optimisation.

Join us for this interesting talk + discussion in room 3A08 or online. Get link to teams meeting and full abstract by clicking below.
