Using ML for optimisation of decision-making under uncertainty
Join us for a talk by Professor Emma Frejinger (Université de Montréal) on how Machine Learning (ML) and optimisation can improve decisions in uncertain environments— such as transport, energy, and pricing.

Based on a recent survey, the talk highlights new methods and key challenges, including decision-dependent uncertainty.

CCIT Seminar: Explorations in Climate Sound and Society
On 12 June from 12:00-13:00, Center for Climate IT and AIRLab are excited to co-host Kara Oehler and Jesse Shapins, Co-Founders of the Institute for Climate Sound & Society (ICSS). They will present a talk titled ‘Explorations in Climate Sound & Society’.

The talk introduces the Institute, presents some reflections on the role of sound and ‘sensory’ climate data, and concludes with a discussion where there will be space for questions and further reflections.
