Updated guidelines on generative artificial intelligence
At ITU, we believe it is important fo you, our students, to learn how to use GenAI correctly. This means examining AI output critically to avoid its potential pitfalls.

Some courses explore ways of using GenAI critically and intentionally, while other focus on developing core skills without AI. Check the course description for details specific to each course.

We have slightly revised our GenAI guidelines in collaboration with teachers and students. The updated guidelines take effect from February 2026.

Need special examination conditions for your exams?
If you experience challenges or barriers related to impairment or neurodivergence, you can apply for special examination conditions for the upcoming spring semester exams.

The deadline is Saturday, 1 March.

What do you need to do?
You need to book an appointment and meet with an SPS advisor, who will help you with the formalities and finalise your application with you.

If you have already received special examination conditions for exams at ITU, you do not need to apply again.

Click below for full details.

Need to register for your re-exam in February or March?
You may need to register for your re-exam yourself in certain situations.

For example, this applies if you have had exam attempts cancelled, and your new exam attempt was placed in the ordinary exam period in December or January, and you missed or failed it.

If you still have exam attempts left, you can then register for the re-exam in the re-exam period yourself.

The deadline for registering for a course re-exam following the Autumn 2025 exams is Tuesday, 11 February.

Send an email to sap@itu.dk.
