The results of the Danish Student Survey 2025 are here
In autumn 2025, all ITU students were invited to participate in the national survey about the study and learning environment. We received more than 630 responses. Thank you to everyone who participated.

The Board of Studies has started the process of reviewing the data. Over the coming months, relevant stakeholders will be involved in analysing the results to see how they align with ITU’s current Study Environment Action Plan and whether any adjustments are needed.

Read more about the survey and the action plan below.

Q&A: Generative AI and teaching at ITU
Generative AI is rapidly changing the landscape of higher education.

At this Q&A session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the Head of Education at ITU, Luís Cruz-Filipe, about how ITU is adapting to generative AI and what this means for you as a student, both now and in your future professional life.

The Q&A will take place on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00 in ScrollBar.

CCIT Talk with Electricity Maps: Forecasting the power grid
On Wednesday, 5 March 2026, from 16:00 to 17:00 in room 4A56, the Center for Climate IT invites Ingrid Munne, Forecasting Lead and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Electricity Maps, to present the technology behind the company’s power grid forecasting. Electricity Maps live broadcasts the energy sources of electricity across different countries.

In her talk, “Forecasting the Power Grid at Scale”, Ingrid will explain how large-scale forecasts of electricity generation, electricity prices, and carbon intensity are built and operated in production at a global level.

She will also discuss the modelling challenges and infrastructure behind large-scale forecasting. The focus is on practical, real-world machine learning for energy and climate impact.

Time for the annual PokerBot Battles
Next Friday, 6 March 2026, at 16:00, PokerBot Battles returns to ScrollBar.

We will watch the bots battle it out, with prizes for the best (or luckiest) teams.

Everyone who competes will receive two drink tickets, so grab a couple of friends, sign up, and join us.
