Creative thinking and playfulness in an AI future
Join us for two hours of strategic play and creative exploration.

What do playfulness and creativity have to offer in an AI-shaped future?

In this interactive workshop, we explore how playful methods can help break default thinking, generate stronger ideas, and develop more original perspectives.

You will work with playfulness and creativity as serious tools for navigating complexity and building human-centred skills in a world shaped by AI and automation.

When and where: Monday, 17 March, 16:15–18:15, followed by a light dinner in 2F12 (DR building).
 
Come celebrate Pi Day
Join us Monday, 16 March to celebrate Pi Day and the mathematics we learn, apply, and develop at ITU.

The event features a talk by Assistant Professor Jonas Juul, followed by pie and coffee.

Get an inside look at how satellite data and AI are turned into practical solutions, and why working with space does not have to be as complex as it may sound.

CCIT Seminar on venture capital and climate
Ever wondered what role venture capital (VC) plays in the climate crisis?

Join a seminar hosted by the Center for Climate IT and Cornelius Heimstädt (University of Hamburg), where he explores how venture capital is shifting from financing carbon-intensive industries to positioning itself as a key driver of climate solutions.

The talk draws on research into venture capital markets in Germany and their links to European policy and innovation arenas, examining the rapid expansion of “climate tech” investing and its recent slowdown amid geopolitical tensions and rising interest rates.
