Graduation Ceremony 2026
Many students are in the middle of their final exams. Years of hard work are coming to an end, whether you are completing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Professional Master’s programme.

No matter which hard-earned degree you are about to complete, ITU would like to celebrate your achievement with you.

The Graduation Ceremonies 2026 will take place on Thursday, 25 June and Friday, 26 June.

What registration period? What Autumn semester?
The registration period for Autumn 2026 closes this Wednesday, 10 June at 23.59

The allocation of course seats will begin after 10 June. Remember to check your registrations at the end of June.

If you need to make changes to your registrations, the registration change period is during weeks 35 and 36, at the start of the semester.

Final exams call for celebration
We are happy to celebrate our graduates and welcome their family and friends to ITU.

At the same time, exams are still taking place on campus, so please be considerate:

- Celebrate in the canteen (1st floor), in Scrollbar, or use the outdoor areas

- Avoid making noise near exam venues

- Balloons and confetti are not allowed, as they may trigger the fire alarm

- Pets are not permitted on campus

Planned FM activities during the summer period
In addition to the facade renovation taking place over the summer, FM has planned the following activities: 

Replacement of ITU’s Automatic Fire Alarm System (AFAS) at RLV

The work will take place from July to mid-August and will include replacing the AFAS control panel in the Information Desk area, as well as smoke detectors in all offices, teaching rooms, meeting rooms, and other facilities. The smoke detectors will be replaced during weeks 28–32. Work in individual offices will be brief. FM will contact the managers of the various office areas to arrange specific dates for the work.

Replacement of printers/copiers

During week 29, the printers and copiers at RLV and EHK will be replaced. Their use will remain unchanged.

It is time for the annual clean-up of the bicycle basement
On Thursday, 11 June 2026, tags will be attached to all bicycles in the bicycle basement.

Please remember to remove the tag from your bicycle.

Any bicycle that still has a tag  attached on Thursday, 23 July 2026, will be handed over to the police lost property office.

Listen Up! #6: participatory concert with Tara Pattenden
Vestibulum id justo eget ligula dignissim vehicula. Aenean eu consectetur urna, vitae rutrum turpis. In et nuAir Lab’s Listen Up! Session #6 is here. This time, Australian artist and researcher Tara Pattenden will present a participatory concert featuring malleable wearable electronic instruments developed through her work as an artist, instrument maker, and performer.

The concert invites audiences into a tactile and exploratory sound environment where soft circuitry, deformable interfaces, and wearable instruments become tools for improvisational play and shared sound-making.

When and where: 12 June 2026 from 15:30–17:00 in Air Lab.
