Referendum on Teaching Time
The current ITU policy is that lectures must end 10 minutes before scheduled time. Another concept is the so-called Academic Quarter where lectures begin 15 minutes after scheduled time.  

Which do you prefer?

Board of Studies heads a referendum on the topic. All students and members of faculty are encouraged to vote.

The vote is anonymous, and Board of Studies is obliged to implement the majority vote as new policy.
 
Reset: A New Magazine about Climate IT
Reset is a new climate magazine by ITU about the topic climate it.

The purpose of the initiative is to draw attention to the climate implications of IT and the work is led by faculty.

Introduction to Mentimeter
Mentimeter is an interaction tool which can be used to create engaging presentations and get instant feedback from your audience.

In this introductory workshop you learn about:
- Creating and editing your own interactive presentations
- Differentiating between different question types and their use
- Using the new features: Slide library and interactive content types

Climate Talk: Jonas Fritsch on the Climate Emergency as an Existential Crisis
In this episode of Climate Talks, Associate Professor Jonas Fritsch focuses on the emotional and affective technological aspects of the climate emergency.

Living in ‘catastrophic times’ Jonas explains, is also an opportunity to develop new relationships to the world around us, to develop new ecological sensibilities. 

ITU Climate Talks are a series of short research videos (5-8 minutes each) by faculty members from all three ITU research departments.The purpose of the talks is to inform and inspire both staff and students by highlighting some of the exciting climate related research underway at the university.
 
ITU Helps Companies with Cyber Security
With support from the Danish Industry Foundation, the ITU-based project Sikker:Cyber has published its second free online course in cyber security for small and medium-sized companies.

The new course is for professional IT staff who have knowledge about IT but have not worked with cyber security before.

​​​​​​​The new course focuses on logging and gives concrete methods and tools for monitoring and preventing hacker attacks.
