ITU Will Need to Conserve Energy This Winter
Have you noticed there is only a little hot water in the taps and that the classrooms are a bit colder than usual?

The explanation is that ITU needs to conserve energy this winter. And these initiatives are only some of the measures that Facility Management are currently working on implementing.

Find out more about why this is necessary and how it will affect your everyday at campus on ITU Student. You can also find tips for what you can do to help conserve energy.

Do You Need a
Pre-Approval for Your Spring Semester?
Maybe you are going on exchange in a foreign country or maybe you are taking courses at other universities in Denmark.

Either way, you need to have your pre-approval of courses in order to make sure the courses are approved to substitute your ITU courses.

The deadline for applying is October 20.

This deadline also relates to summer courses you are planning to take at another university, if you want them to count as a part of the Spring semester.

INFO BREAKFAST - STUDENT COUNCIL X EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
We are back with another Info Breakfast on October 4 at 9:30 AM on the first floor.

The latest was definitely a hit amongst students, so we are back with more delicious breakfast snacks for you - this time accompanied by Executive Management.

Who are they you might ask? The trio consists of Vice Chancellor Per Bruun Brockhoff, Pro-Rector Jens Christian Godskesen, and University Director Georg Dam Steffensen! Together, they manage the university in collaboration with the Board of Directors. So if you want to have a chat with some of the big bosses that run ITU, then feel free to drop by.

All deadlines and other information will be announced here in readIT.

Roland MT-32 Synth Workshop
The MT-32 was an expensive PC soundcard that had far greater capabilities than 16 bit computers, consoles, and cheaper PC soundcards such as the SoundBlaster.

Today, the audio of classic games such as Monkey Island and Dune cannot be authentically reproduced because emulators such as DOSBox do not support the MT-32.

The aim of the workshop is to use a Rasberry Pi 3b plus to build an MT-32 emulator addon for the FPGA MiSTER.

When and where: October 6, 2022 14.00 - 17.00 at the table outside room 5A54.
