INFO BREAKFAST with Study and Career Guidance & "Studenterrådgivningen"
Student Council is once again hosting an information breakfast. 

This time around, we will be joined by ITU's Study and Career Guidance. They will share tips and tricks on how to tackle the exam period.

Furthermore, Student Council is also collaborating with "Studenterrådgivningen". They help students deal with stress, loneliness, and exam-anxiety, and they will also be present at the breakfast.

Breakfast is served on Wednesday (November 16) on the first floor in Atrium at 9:30-10:30.
 
Launch of Center for Digital Play
Join us for the launch of the Center for Digital Play - a new research Center at the IT University.

The new center studies how the play perspective provides novel insights into the uses and design of computer games, gamification, and game-trained AI; and also how play perspective provides insights into the practices of the many communities and users which engage in playful practices as part of their everyday life and cultural engagement.

When and where: November 24,15:30 in Auditorium 0.

Last Chance to Run for the ITU Election 2022
Remember that the deadline for submission of candidate lists for the election to the IT University’s collegiate bodies is tomorrow, November 15, at noon.

If you are planning on running, you should immediately go to "How to run" to find out what need to do.  

The candidate lists can be viewed at itu.dk/election from November 18.

ITU's First Flea Market Coming Up
Student Council is excited to announce that we are going to arrange ITU’s first flea market!

The market will take place on November 27 beginning at 10.00 for everyone and at 9.30 for the people setting up a stand.

The purpose of the market is to recycle, upcycle, earn a little cash, or swap some of your old stuff to something new. So gather your used clothes, shoes, accessories, cups, pots or pans and join us for a cozy sunday with coffee, cake and maybe even some board games.

PhD Defence by Silvia Fornós 
PhD Student Silvia Fornós will be defending her PhD thesis "Students making games as a learning strategy for chemical engineering".

PongIT Table Tennis Tournament
Get ready for the second PongIT tournament of the season!

The tournament will take place in Atrium on November 18 starting at 19:00.

There will be snacks for everyone and prizes for the top 3 players.

Do you have a hot take, review or a piece of writing related to play and games? We are now accpeting submissions for the second issue of lowscore magazine!

Until december 11, you can submit them to lowscoremag@gmail.com.
Don't worry about your articles being perfect.

You can also send us ideas, messy paragraphs and drafts or contact us before the deadline, so we can figure it out together. 

Lowscore is a low budget medium effort magazine about games made by and for students.

Just Dance Night
Come join us for an epic dance battle on November 15, at 16:00 in room 4A12-14. Come enjoy your favorite songs and free snacks.
 
BreakIT: Slot Car Drag Race
BreakIT will set up several meters of straight track, so participants can build drag race slot cars. They can slo build a timing gear to clock the cars' speed (including a Christmas tree, to start the races).

Please bring toy cars (scale up to 1/24) to modify them into slot car drag racers.

BreakIT supplies motors, rear axles, tyres, wires, electric sliders/brushes, pins to keep the cars in their lanes, LEDs, tools and good karma.

Everybody is welcome on November 17 at 14.00 in Atrium.
