GREEN LIGHT FOR PRELIMINARY STUDIES AT ENERGY ISLAND BORNHOLM 

Energinet has been given the green light for carrying out comprehensive preliminary studies of nature and the environment in the Baltic Sea. The energy island will have a capacity of 2 GW and the wind turbines will be placed around 20 km off the shore, south of the city of Rønne on Bornholm.
