Final Course Evaluation in Class
Business is still not as usual. Even so, course evaluations carry on as they are pivotal to ITU’s quality assurance.

During April and May, your teachers will facilitate a class-based evaluation and write a summary which will be published on the course page in LearnIT. The current situation means it will be done online.

We know Corona has affected the organisation of your courses, but please consider all aspects of the course when evaluating – not only the handling of the Corona-situation.

Storage Drives Will Close by September
By September 2021 the S, W and H drives and folders will close at ITU.

Please be aware that the drives and folders will not be available for you in the fall semester.

If you have documents placed on the respective drives and folders, we urge you to move them to Teams or other places.

New Wi-Fi Certificate
Last week we installed a new certificate in our Wi-Fi setup at ITU.

Most users will not notice the change and will be able to connect seamlessly to ITU++ and eduroam at ITU. Some users, depending on your device, may need to accept a new certificate when connecting.

If you experience any Wi-Fi connection problems, please report it to the IT HelpDesk.

Do You Want to Inspire with IT?
Do you love what you study here at ITU, and do you want to share that love with high school kids?

Then you might be our new teaching assistant for a project aiming to increase diversity in Computer Science.

You will be teaching Coding Classes or Digital Dannelse at schools in greater Copenhagen and online together with great colleagues.
The job will give you strong presentation and people skills.

Please note, you will be teaching in Danish.

ChangeIT Presents: Intersectionality at ITU
Tess Skadegård Thorsen will be giving a talk that engages with the responsibility of public institutions in relation to the rights of individuals within these settings.

She will also present an overview of common issues and challenges in diversity work.

Every student and employee at ITU is welcome, but you do need to sign up. Follow the link below to find the sign-up page.

Watch Keynotes about Death in a Digital Context
This week, the research group CULT (Culture & Technology) hosts the 5th International Symposium of the Death Online Research Network (DORS) online on Zoom. DORS is an international network of researchers working with death in a digital context, and involves amongst others media scholars, design researchers, anthropologists and information systems researchers.

The three keynote speeches are open to all students and staff at ITU. The panel discussions and session talks are only open to symposium attendees, but access might be possible, if a particular session speaks directly to a Master Thesis or Ph.D. project. In this case, contact Lisbeth Klastrup

The full programme is available here.
