Dean’s Digest: Mind the Industry-Academia Gap

The careers and high employability of ITU graduates are in focus in ITU’s new strategy and quality policy.

We strive to educate and train competent graduates, but it is equally important to communicate your attractiveness and the unique value you bring to industry in a language, practitioners can understand.

In this week’s newsletter, Pernille Rydén shares her thoughts on why a continuous dialogue with industry is required and introduces a profiling tool that might help bridge the academia-industry gap.

ReadIT Will Take an Ascension Day Break

Due to Ascencion Day, this Thursday, readIT will take a short break next week. ReadIT will due to Whitsun return Tuesday, May 25. Deadline for entries for the next edition of readIT is Wednesday May 19 at noon. Submit to readIT by using the submit form. Be aware that your picture must be exactly 1000x500 pixels. Otherwise, the submit form will fail.
