ITU Courses During the Summer?
Are you considering taking a summer course? Then join this information meeting about ITU Summer University 2022. Come by and get all the information you need to make up your mind.

At the meeting you will get some basic information on next year’s summer courses, how to register and what to consider when choosing a summer course. You will be able to ask any questions you might have about ITU Summer University.

When and where: Tuesday, November 23 in auditorium 2 from 16-17.00.
 
Time to Find Out Which Candidate to Vote For?  
The candidate lists including nominators for the election 2021 are now published. Find out which candidate you want to vote for at itu.dk/election. 

This year, there are contested elections for the seat in Board of Directors and several other seats. 
 
Remember the deadline for submission of coalition lists/electoral pacts, request for allotment of list designation, objection to candidates and withdrawal of candidate nominations is November 23 at noon.

Meet the Candidates for the ITU Election
The Student Council invites you all for buns and politics this week in Atrium!

The yearly election at ITU is coming up. It is time to consider whom we would like to represent us and our voices in the different collegiate bodies at our university.  

At our upcoming Info Breakfast on November 24 from 9:30-10:30, you will get an extraordinary opportunity to meet the candidates running this year.

Come and have a talk, and get to know your candidates before visiting the polling booth.

We will provide free breakfast and loads of caffeine!
 
ANALOG X KLEEN HUB - Bring Your Own Cup!

ITU Board of Directors Meeting on November 25, 2021
The next Board of Directors Meeting takes place on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 14:00.

Among other things the strategic contract targets after third quarter 2021 and the budget 2022 will be considered.

More Student Lockers on Campus
We have expanded the number of student lockers here at ITU, which are scheduled to be released this morning (Monday, November 22). All lockers might not be ready for use, but you can still get keys for them now. 

How do I get hold of  one of the new student lockers? You should go to the Information Desk and pay with your ITU Student Card. 

To get a locker you need to place a deposit of 500 DKK which you of course will get back when you return your key. 
 
Time for Accreditation of ITU as an Institution
Does ITU’s Quality Assurance System for study programmes meet the criteria for Institutional Accreditation and does the system work well in practice? 

This is what the Danish Accreditation Institution and the Accreditation Panel for institutional accreditation of ITU will assess in the coming months with a final decision in September 2022. 

They have received a description of our Quality Assurance System and this week they conduct their first site-visit at ITU. 
 
Digi-Talks x Digital Tech Summit 2021
The student organisation Digi-Talks is a partner at this year's Digital Tech Summit, November 30 - December 1 in Øksnehallen!

Come join us at the summit as we have created tailored events and activities specifically for students. We will have a booth during the two days, host two of the sessions on the program and more!

BreakIT: Sensorized Slot Cars
BreakIT explores various ways to sense and track slot cars, and let them see the track - be it visually, magnetically, vibrationally or acoustically.

The minimal outcome is an automatic, contact-free, digital lab counter.

The Workshop is prepared and facilitatated by Julian Priest, Sebastian Büttrich (both DASYA Lab) and Daniel Cermak-Sassenrath (Games).

When and where:  November 29 at 14. 00 in Atrium and AIR Lab.

DK-Hostmaster Talk and Hacker Session
Join this DK-Hostmaster talk and a hacker session named: "From phonebook to global distributed database: How the DNS can be used to improve security of the Internet infrastructure".

Find out more about the basic principles underlying the DNS and some of the newer protocols, that leverage DNS to distribute information to make the Internet a safer place.​​​​​​​

You can also hear about how the domain name service is old, but still stands as one of the central systems of the modern internet, and find out how DNS has been abused throughout history and still is today.
