Workshop on How to Apply for a PhD
In ETHOS we are running a workshop on January 20 from 11.00-12.00 tailored to the ITU Open Call. Here we will walk through elements of a call for a PhD, providing workshop materials that helps you generate a feasible research proposal.

The session will involve hands on work with open PhD calls, and a chance to work on your own ideas.

PhD student Ester Fritsch is defending her PhD thesis "ECHOES OF ETHICS ACROSS EUROPE - An ethnography of ethical interventions into the Internet of Things".

Thore Husfeldt is New Deputy Department Head for Education in Computer Science
Thore Husfeldt is new deputy department head for education in the Computer Science Department since January 1.  

Thore joined ITU in 2008 and is a professor in algorithms. He is a very dedicated teacher and researcher, co-founded the BARC research center, created the Lillekat
programming events and the CastIT podcasts, and much more.

Thore replaces Björn Þór Jónsson. Thanks to Björn for his contributions!  

The CS department management now consists of Peter Sestoft, Louise Barkhuus, Thore Husfeldt and Diane Aurehøj.
 
Parking License for 2022
It's time to get your old parking permit exchanged for a new one.

From today, you can get the new license in the information on RLV during normal opening hours.

The current parking permit 2021 is valid until January 3, 2022.
