It's Time to Clean Up the Bike Cellar

During week 42, we have put red stickers on the bikes that are parked in the basement here at ITU. The mark must then be removed during weeks 43, 44 and 45. From Monday, November 15, we will remove the bikes that still have a sticker on. We will then hand them over to the to the police as soon as possible hereafter.

Fire Drill on Tuesday, October 26

Please note, that we will have a fire drill Tuesday, October 26 during the day.

Please read the following instructions:

- Before the fire drill, identify the escape route you are going to use, if your zone is evacuated.

- Follow the green exit signs, indicating the evacuation stairs.

- You only have to leave the building, if the fire alarm sounds loud and clear in your section.

- If you have to flee through an emergency exit, break the plastic cap on the lock. If you can´t break the cap by hand then use a shoe.

We hope that you will all contribute to a successful drill.

Join BreakIt in Fixing a Pinball Machine

BreakIT fixes, tunes and optimizes a 100% custom-built pinball machine!

The pinball machine was donated by students and needs some care after a few years of use.

We will replace the old rubber bands to repair it, but we will also add some new features: a central pin to prevent the ball going through the flippers, detecting the ball at the ramp, or adding new targets.

When and where: November 4, 14.00 in Real Lab, ITU 5th Floor.

HILTI IT Competition 2022

It's time for the annual HILTI IT Competition in 2022. This year's competition focuses on gamifying cybersecurity awareness in the construction industry.

Why should you participate?

You will have an opportunity to build your presentation and communication skills by showcasing your project to industry experts and receive constructive feedback.
Compete against like-minded individuals from all over the world. You will have the chance to meet leading technologists and subject matter experts.

Deadline for registration is November 30 11:59 PM. You can sign up individually or in teams of up to 5 members.

The finals are held in Kuala Lumpur in the spring of 2022, which is yet another reason to participate!
